Angelo C. Tasselli, 95, of Arlington, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at his home of natural causes. Angelo was born on February 1, 1922, in Renovo, PA., son of the late John V. Tasselli and Anna (Sachette) Tasselli. He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, in Lock Haven, PA. Also, a World War II Navy Veteran, he served in the Pacific Fleet From June 7, 1942 until March 24, 1948. Angelo retired from the Department of Defense after working 30 years. Angelo C. Tasselli, 95, of Arlington, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at his home of natural causes. Angelo was born on February 1, 1922, in Renovo, PA., son of the late John V. Tasselli and Anna (Sachette) Tasselli. He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, in Lock Haven, PA. Also, a World War II Navy Veteran, he served in the Pacific Fleet From June 7, 1942 until March 24, 1948. Angelo retired from the Department of Defense after working 30 years. He married his wife of 69 years, Alice Mae Thompson, on December 25, 1948. He is survived by his wife Alice, their two sons, John Thomas Tasselli, and his wife Jayne, of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Thomas John Tasselli, of Fairfax, VA. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Anthony Tasselli and his wife Kellie and great-grandson Anson, Christina "Nina" Tasselli, Beth Ash and husband Colton, Vincent and Dominic Tasselli, all who affectionately called him "Poppie". Two siblings also survive him: Betty Crissman, of Lock Haven, and Sister Tarcisius Tasselli, IHM, of Scranton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers; Vito J. Tasselli, of Lock Haven, PA., and Anthony D. Tasselli, of Altoona, PA. A burial Service will held at a future date at Arlington National Cemetery
