Her love for major league baseball in Washington dated back to attending Senators games at Griffith Stadium and continued to her last game, a no-hitter at Nationals Park to close the 2014 season. If the sport had been ready for a woman manager, she would have brought a World Series win to DC. Predeceased by her husband, Ellsworth, survived by her loving children, Kathryn Jennison Shultz (Francis Chen), Christine Jennings (David), Ellsworth Jennison, Jr., John Jennison (Bridget), Mary Alice Spivey (Peter), Carl Jennison (Tess) and Stuart Jennison (Pam), and grandchildren, Rachel (Dan Benn) and Kate Jennings, Jack, Madeline and Kaelin Jennison, Thomas and Lillie Spivey, and Amanda and Lauren Jennison, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
