Ronald Earl Byram was born March 11, 1938 in Washington D.C. He died on September 15 from Alzheimer's disease. Ron grew up in East Falls Church and also spent his retirement years there. Ron was a loving father and grandfather, uncle and brother. He is survived by his son Scott Byram, daughter Chris Weston, nieces Debbie Gage and Lisa Herbert, and two grandchildren.

Ron served in the Marine Corps Reserve, and was an avid hunter in his youth. He rowed stroke on Washington-Lee High School varsity crew team, and attended the University of...

Ron was a loving father and grandfather, uncle and brother. He is survived by his son Scott Byram, daughter Chris Weston, nieces Debbie Gage and Lisa Herbert, and two grandchildren.

Ron served in the Marine Corps Reserve, and was an avid hunter in his youth. He rowed stroke on Washington-Lee High School varsity crew team, and attended the University of Richmond and George Washington University. Ron worked as a mail carrier, in retail, and in real estate management. He achieved 24 years of sobriety and was an enthusiastic volunteer at Arlington County Hospital addiction treatment center.

Services will be held at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 24.
